Michele Tallack is a British artist, based in both Oxfordshire and the Languedoc-Roussillon region of France.

Her work focusses on the impact that people have on their environment and the ways in which environments shape their lives.  The marks people have made on the landscape and the ways which urban or rural landscapes have affected the ways in which they live and work.

Her work over the last decade has additionally focussed on the experiences affecting refugees from the Spanish Civil War up to today.  

She has taught at History of Art department, University of Cambridge and the art department of Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge. Over decades she has worked extensively with professional artists, teachers, the Arts Council and Ministry of Education. This work has covered ways in which art and artists contribute to other areas of the curriculum. She has published on the arts education curriculum, philosophy of arts education, to using artists in education to broaden pupils` understanding of other cultures.
